Location
Poljica are located in the western part of the island, in the area called Šotovento.About 3 km crow flies southeast of Čavlena Bay. Near the village Bajčići and Nenadići.Away from Malinska around 6 km, and from Krk about 10 km. Administrative are part of the island of Krk as the entire Šotovento.
Culture and attractions
Although a small village, Poljica has many Renaissance buildings. Among them, in particular, stands out tower of the parish church built of finely carved stone. It was built in 1768th and before there was a second, smaller one. With its height of 29 meters it dominates the village and surrounding area. Gothic parish church was built before the 1490th.
Near Čavlena bay, in the woods, there is a little early mediaeval church of St. Grisogono. No one knows who built it, but it is thought to be from the 9th century.

Along with the great Krk olive oil, Krk cheese and high quality fish and lamb, the island of Krk can be proud of the numerous authentic taverns and good restaurants.Close to our accommodation there are two authentic local taverns,one with meat dishes and the other with fish,also there are many authentic tavern in neighboring villages.All in all a perfect place for gastronomic enjoyment.

2.5 km away from the apartment there are beautiful beaches in the bay Čavlena.In the bay you will find numerous small beaches, beautiful clear blue sea, peace and tranquility that you have not experienced anywhere before.And if that is not enough for you island of Krk has many beautifull beaches.We are sure you will find one that will be perfect just for you.
